This scholarship supports applicants
Who take the JEE-Mains test for 2022, and
Secure admission in IIT or NIT this year
Have a family income of less than Rs. 8 Lakh per year, and
Come from smaller cities, towns and rural areas of India (i.e. excluding top 8 metro areas of New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad & Pune)

Additional weightage will be given to:
Female applicants
Low Total Family Income
